Eight metro Detroit area students showcased their fashion designs in the Threads Fashion Show — an event that was entirely produced by students at Central Michigan University — on Saturday, April 22.
As always the fashion program lead many students to grab jobs at the top brands and more than 93% pf the grads got placements into industry jobs this time too.
Student designers from the Detroit region who participated with their innovative designs included:
- Amy Cain of Eastpointe;
- Samantha Martin of Bloomfield Hills;
- Paige Zubok of Dearborn Heights;
- Liset Todd of Southfield;
- Tiffany Griffiths of Commerce Township;
- Sala White of Southfield;
- Dean Myrto of West Bloomfield; and
- Arrion Drumgoole of Detroit.
The Threads Fashion Show is the second largest student-run event on campus and nearly 2,200 people attend it this time. High resolution photos can be requested from the co-ordinator of the show.

More than 20 student designers and over 100 student models from Central Michigan University presented at this 19th annual THREADS FASHION SHOW that was held at at Finch Fieldhouse. This year’s theme was Fashion Expedition.
